How to Make a Crystal Elixir Using Healing Crystals and Stones

The Benefits of Healing Crystals

Crystals have been used for centuries because of the healing properties they possess.

All healing crystals and gemstones hold unique qualities that depend on the shape, size, color and type of crystal or stone.

These powerful miracles have been known to promote physical health, mental health, and spiritual health.

Scientific research studying the power of crystals has even found that the plant life surrounding where the crystals are found is more fertile and grows more rapidly than other locations.

This is the fourth article I have written on the subject of healing crystals. If you are knew to the idea of how to use crystals and what different crystals mean, please review my previous articles to get an overview of the basics of crystal healing before trying a crystal elixir.

Crystal elixirs and essences go by many names including but not limited to gem waters, gem elixirs, gem tonics, gem essences, crystal waters, crystal essences, crystal tonics, and more.

Don’t worry, and don’t be confused, they all mean the same thing.

Choosing Your Crystals

Almost all healing crystals and gemstones can be used to make a crystal elixir. Some crystals don’t take well to water, as they rust or disolve, and I will cover that later in this hub.

The number of stones or crystals needed to prepare an elixir depends on how strong of an elixir you want to make. For most elixirs, the common method calls for one medium sized crystal per pint of water used.

If you want to create a more powerful elixir, you can use a number of crystals, as well as a mixture of crystals and stones.

The ideal crystal or stone used in an elixir should not be rough edged, but smooth on all sides, so as to not leave any residue in the water.

How to Make a Dosage Elixir

A dosage elixir is a stronger type of elixir and is recommended only for those who are experienced with crystal work.

To prepare a dosage elixir, first you must prepare a simple elixir like you would normally.

After the simple elixir is prepared, pour the water into a dark bottle, ideally a bottle that has a dropper top.

Depending on how much water you have prepared in your elixir, add vodka or brandy to the water in order to preserve it. (A rule of thumb to follow is 10 parts water, one part alcohol in order to best preserve your elixir).

This elixir can be added to drinks, dropped on the tongue, used while taking a bath, added to essential oils during a massage, etc.

Dosage elixirs are more potent, last longer, and have many uses. Some even choose to pour their dosage elixir into a spray bottle and spray the elixir all over their house in order to cleanse the environment.

How to Make a Simple Crystal Elixir

This is a recipe for a simple crystal elixir. This elixir is ideal for daily use because it is quick to prepare and works with most crystals and gemstones.

To prepare a simple elixir, the first thing you need to do is prepare your crystals or stones. That means they must be charged, dedicated, and energized.

After you have prepped your crystals, place them in a glass bowl. Fill the bowl with fresh, clean spring water. (Filtered water will work as well).

Place the bowl in the sun, and let it charge for two hours.

After two hours has passed, you can remove the crystal, and sip the water from the bowl.

This elixir can be stored in a refrigerator for up to two days before losing its powerful healing qualities.

A simple elixir recipe is needed if you are intending on preparing a dosage elixir.

Infusing Your Crystals with Intentions

It is very important to always infuse your crystals with an intention before preparing any elixir, a simple elixir or a dosage elixir.

Infusing intentions into your crystals is what makes this process so spiritual, as well as healing.

Adding intentions to your crystals is a part of the prepping process, but it is one of the most important parts because it is the most personal.

Only you know what intentions you are pouring into your crystals, and all intentions are unique.

Sometimes we may want to infuse our crystals with intentions for ourselves, other times we may want to infuse them with intentions meant for others.

Whatever your decision is, you must put your whole heart into the process if you want the process to work.

To infuse your crystals with intentions, first cleanse them and charge them.

Once they are charged, hold the crystals in your hand, one at a time, and imagine a bright white light surrounding your body.

Either out loud or in your head, recite your intention several times. I generally try to recite my intention ten times in order to ensure that the crystal becomes infused fully.

The key is to send out the vibrations of what you wish to receive into the crystal. Imagine already having it and what it means to you.

Make sure this process is done in a setting that makes you feel comfortable and relaxed.
